Even on the largest fight cards in the world the bottom of the card gets pennies, and all the fighters know that. It has been the subject of discussion in locker rooms, podcasts, and press conferences.

The SFL has a higher entry level per fight purse than even some of the largest organizations in the world.

Not only do we pay a much better per fight purse but because we contract fighters for the season, they know they are getting seven or eight purses. This allows fighters to make career decisions that you can't make on three or four fights a year.

Unless you plan on a career built on local fight nights you will run into the matchmaker problem. Hit any locker room with a 4-1 pro and they will tell you they just can't get to the next level fight. Contrary to the way it should be, combat sports is still a business of 'who you know and what can you do for me'.

The SFL takes all those worries away. Once you are an SFL fighter, you are going to get fights, you are going to get your opportunities and since the league doesn't use matchmakers either, the SFL and the fighter truly are rooting for each others' success.

It is pointless getting paid $10,000 per fight if you are only getting two fights a year. There is no financial stability with that, you cannot budget with inconsistent income, and most of it will get poured back into training and support.

With the SFL, even if a fighter doesn't make it to the championship fight, they will be given the opportunity to get at least seven fights per season. Combine the base per fight pay with incentives, revenue share, and other opportunities and a real career can be built.

Every fighter who starts a season has the same opportunity to walk away with a championship belt at the end of the season. Compare that fact with the fact that many professional fighters will go ten years without even having one opportunity to claim the crown and the SFL becomes a clear home for those seeking a long-term career as a fighter and influencer.

Every story of a champion winning tens of millions of dollars and to only wind up living in a trailer park once the laces are hung up is heartbreaking. The benefit of being a fighter in the SFL is your chairman is one of the world's top experts on finance and commerce.

SFL athletes get a benefit even some world-famous names from all sports don't receive and that is the league will cover all or a portion (details vary per fighter) of you and your family's health care needs.

Additionally, SFL fighters can name a beneficiary who is able receive a life insurance distribution at no cost to the fighter.

Most promotions treat fighters like disposable meat; any fit and angry body will do. They just want to fill seats. Not in the SFL. We love fans and provide a better experience than anyone out there, but we also know fighters are our priority (we think real fans respect that) and as such we provide contract extensions and pay increases for the top four finishers in each weight class. This, again, allows fighters to plan, train, and build a real paying career here.

Many of the world's biggest fight organizations actively silence and punish fighters for wanting a voice. In the SFL we built it right into the framework! Each weight class has a fighter representative on the board allowing the fighters' voices to be heard from day one of their rookie year.

Just like in the NFL, NBA, NHL if a fighter stays with the league for three seasons he will receive, at no cost to himself, a retirement account.

This is important to the chairman as he views his responsibility to his fighters to be extended beyond their fighting days.

We don't just focus on the fights either, we build story development, community engagement, volunteer opportunities, appearance opportunities all to the benefit of the fighter and integrated with their own influencer brand.

If you are looking to fight on a random Friday for $1,500 purse, then we are not for you. If you want to play the "punch and hope" game chasing the top three corporate outfits that ignore the majority of their stable of fighters, then the SFL is not for you. However, if you are looking to become a full-time professional fighter and media athlete, the choice is clear.

There are literally hundreds of fight promotors popping up and dying off every year. The SFL is different. This league is a legitimate professional sports organization with the backing of a thirty-one-year track record of business success. We are not going anywhere.

We want you to honor your commitment, but we do not believe in the contract restrictions which many promotion companies have in their contracts today. You will not find the SFL seeking to get a cut of your movie deal five years from now, you won't hear us asking for a cut of your own sponsorship deals (unless they involve us of course) and you certainly won't keep you under contract and lock you out from fighting somewhere else if you're not fighting in the league.

Our view is that if you start with the SFL and go on to become the world's biggest action star we will celebrate with you, not make money off of you! By treating you well you will be one of our most loyal fans and supporters for life, and to us, that's more important than money.

Our founder has an expression companywide: We don't make money off you, we make money with you! When it comes to our contracts, that's where we make money with you, your other activities that don't involve us, we should never make money off you.
